Eddie Murphy has been confirmed as the father of Mel B’s daughter.

The Hollywood actor has consistently denied paternity of three-month-old Angel Iris but DNA test results have now proven otherwise.

Former Spice Girl Mel - who was dumped by Eddie while she was pregnant after a whirlwind romance - is relieved the whole saga in finally over.

A source close to the singer said: “The DNA is back and the baby is definitely Murphy’s.

“She’s now looking forward to moving on with her life with her new baby.”

Eddie, who already has five other children, underwent a court-ordered DNA test earlier this month.

After leaving the Beverly Hills clinic, the ‘Shrek’ star vowed to care for Angel Iris if the tests proved she was his child.
